EU Subsidy Horizon 2020 awarded

It is wonderful that the EIC Accelerator Grant has been awarded. This enables us to develop a large clinical study to demonstrate the positive effect on the healing of the main types of chronic wounds. Our focus in the coming period will be to collect more data and knowledge through clinical studies. This will bring us nearer to the patients, which is very pleasing.

The EU has great confidence in our innovation. The jury referred to PLASOMA as a very innovative cold plasma solution that, when compared to existing or competing solutions for wound healing, was far more advanced. The jury also looked at the costs, ease of use and benefits to society. On average, the assessment criteria awarded were “Very Good” to “Excellent”.

Horizon 2020 is the largest EU program for research and innovation. It is intended to help companies with promising innovations during the start-up phase. In this way, the European Union wishes to facilitate Europe’s competitive position in the world.
