Study Monitor / Field Application Specialist wound care (0,5-0,6 FTE)

In this role you have the opportunity to strengthen the current clinical team of a fast-growing venture, and impact millions of lives by introducing a unique medical device solution in chronic wound care. Wounds that have trouble healing are a serious health concern with devastating consequences for patients. Your task would be to assist in preparation and execution of clinical trials. In addition, you would support physicians and wound care specialists on the effective use of medical device PLASOMA for wound healing stimulation with cold plasma. Our head office is located in Nijmegen. You would be at clinical sites in the Netherlands most of the time.

You are responsible for:
• Providing expert clinical product assistance and training to physicians and wound care specialists on the effective use of PLASOMA.
• Perform monitoring of clinical trials.
• Assist in developing and maintaining clinical study documentation
• Other key responsibilities including supporting new product introductions, communicating user feedback to the company

Competences:
• Proactive and flexible attitude with a hands-on mentality
• Team player, and able to work independently
• Fluent and written communication skills in Dutch and English, open and clear communicator
• Conscientious and structured way of working
• Able to travel to clinical sites in the Netherlands

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
• A (para)medical education, e.g. a (research) nurse or podiatrist with experience in clinical trials
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a (bio)medical discipline with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on clinical study experience will also be considered
• A valid driver’s license
• Preferable: working knowledge in GCP
• Preferable: experience with study monitoring and electronic data capturing
• Preferable: experience with (advanced) wound care and knowledge of wound healing
